Christian Oscar Vega graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in English. Immediately thereafter, he enrolled in St. Mary’s Law School. During Law School, he clerked for a nationally recognized criminal defense firm, Goldstein & Orr, where he learned the art of criminal defense by working on complex criminal cases. He's worked hundreds of criminal cases, including intoxication offenses, violent offenses, sexual assaults, drug crimes, money laundering, fraud crimes, smuggling crimes, post-conviction writs of habeas corpus, and other criminal appellate matters. In addition to practicing criminal defense in San Antonio, Texas, Christian served on the McAllen Criminal Justice Act Panel, representing indigent defendants in federal court.

Christian is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and a board member of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He was nominated as a 2023 Rising Star Lawyer to be featured in Scene in S.A. Magazine and has been featured as a Best S.A. Lawyer and Top S.A. Criminal Defense Lawyer since 2022. The San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association also presented Christian with an award for 2024 Young Lawyer of the Year to recognize the outstanding results he's obtained for his clients.
